GRASSHOPPER’S inspired by the fable “THE MASTER and the LITTLE GRASSHOPPER”
The fable was well represented in the 1972 television series Kung Fu, starring David Carradine, which shows the learning of the Shaolin monk Kwai Chang Caine, nicknamed Grasshopper by his favorite teacher (Master Po, a blind elder). Interspersed with the stories of the present, there are flashbacks that tell the lessons given by Master Po, in the Shaolin temple, to his little grasshopper.
